I had the privilege of working another season with Nickelodeon for NFL SlimeTime Season 3. The show on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon features “nickified” football highlights each week. To Nickify, we track animations and environmental elements onto to the field and players to create a fun and visually stimulating football watching experience geared towards young audiences.

✦︎  Season 3 Redesign

We spent some time this season working on a brand new motion package for the show with our updated show branding. My motion graphics work included segment title cards, transitions, background LEDs, and 3d icons to fit within new brand guidelines.

✦︎  Nickelodeon Broadcasts the Super Bowl

Heading into the Season 3 finale, our team also worked the Super Bowl 2024 producing VFX highlights for the fast-paced live game on Nickelodeon. My work included superimosing and compositing animations on football highlights shortly after they were delivered from our footage truck. We completed this task using a special 3D Spongebob themed toolkit made specifically for use in the Super Bowl. The "Smitty #1" hat (:11) concept I suggested last season was redesigned and made its way into the field. It was tracked on players as well as made into a prop for live footage.

Paramount Building ✦︎  New York, New York

I had a blast heading to New York City to meet the team I had been working with for over a year, finally in person. I worked a long shift at the Paramount building for Super Bowl Sunday. The broadcast had been considered a huge success and a very proud moment in my career. In the following days we had a wrap party for Season 3 where I got to know my coworkers better. I was so pleased to meet a group of such talented individuals.
