Short Form Projects⬩ Motion Graphics/Design/Story

Over the years I have worked on many smaller short-form projects for fun and to help sharpen my skills as a motion designer. Using my personal projects to practice storytelling and working my way to longer form content has been my goal recently (though I still love a good loop every now and then).

✦︎ Plant Story

This is one of my more recent short, an animation about a plant moving into the sunlight. The backgrounds were and character were painted in photoshop while animation and post were done in After Effects.

 ✦︎ All I Wanna Do

I wanted to try out a more experimental style using a clip from the song All I Wanna Do by Sheryl Crow. The method was breaking down the music video as well as royalty free footage and images to frame by frame layers in photoshop and editing each individually. The task was time consuming but I think the resulting style is really fun (pun intended).
